Our Story
Canadian made with love from repurposed and vintage material, Cinnamon Cedar seeks to make statement pieces for stand out people. Every piece is unique and one of a kind just like the people who wear them.

Our Creative Team
I am a self owned small business; a one woman show.
Cinnamon Cedar is a self taught seamstress who strives to bring you wearable art. I started learning how to sew using old books and the internet in my mid twenties and have been slowly gaining skill and confidence since then.
After inheriting a very nice sewing machine from my grandmother my passion increased and I began making custom items for myself, my mother and a few close friends. Every new piece is a little work of art. Each colour pallet, fabric combination and construction detail is chosen deliberately.
While some pieces may incorporate the use of vintage patterns from the 1960s and 1970s which I inherited along with my beloved Kenmore Ultra-Stitch 12; the designs have been imagined, drafted, and patterned by myself.

Some of the items may include imperfections, including but not limited to unfinished interior seams, crooked collars, or imperfect zippers. Nobody is perfect when they start out and I am no exception. However, everything should be machine washable on a cold water setting unless otherwise specified. I wash everything in a traditional washing machine and tumble dryer before shipping; excluding items listed as hand was only which are washed by hand and dried flat.

Our Fabrics
Made from repurposed previously loved fabrics and vintage fabrics.
There is enough fabric in the world. An enormous amount of perfectly useful fabric in small yardages goes unsold in charity shops and estate sales daily. It is our intent to create unique garments showcasing these incredible forgotten patterns and colour pallets.
